Cooper River is proud to be the home of a new Christian co-op for homeschooling families in the greater Charleston area, Koinonia Christian Homeschool Co-op.
Koinonia Co-op is a local Christian traditional cooperative created to support homeschooling families by offering educational electives to supplement the work they are doing at home. They meet once a week for two 10-week semesters during the traditional school year.

Teens seem to have a harder time with that intial conversation, then they open up and we get to see them grow as they interact with their peers.
We would like to gather at different places weekly and help that communication barrier. There will be icebreaker games at every meet and lots of interactions for the teens to get to know each other.

LIFE is a Christian homeschool cooperative that meets one and a half days a week as a program that can either supplement your unique home studies, or fold into your core weekly schoolwork. Our program is structured, with opportunities for plenty of masterly inactivity (play). We also organize and offer field trips for our families throughout the year, on non-cooperative meeting days. We offer several mixed age classes, taught by parent volunteers and/or paid teachers. Most upper level classes will require some reading and/or writing as homework.
