Lightning Literature is a language arts curriculum designed to: instill a love of literature in students, expand their ability to read intelligently and deeply, and prepare them for more advanced language arts concepts.
The key components to this series are literature, grammar and mechanics, and composition.

There are three levels of LitHouse Learning Novel Studies in development:

Level 1: Grades 2 to 5

Level 2: Grades 3 to 6

Level 3: Grades 5 to 8

For each level, the books are age appropriate in content and typical reading ability. Our novel studies include structured writing activities, note-taking, and literary analysis. We recommend doing 8 to 12 novel studies per year.
